Welcome to the Zonta Club of St. Louis
Founded in 1925, the Zonta Club of St. Louis is a service organization of professionals dedicated to improving the status of women through service, advocacy, scholarships and mentoring.
Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.
Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.
In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
Stand with women and girls
in our own community.
International Service Projects

District Service Projects
Zonta District 7 supports the Haiti Project which is endorsed by Zonta International and supported by clubs in the district. The focus is on education. The Zonta Club of St. Louis provides a scholarship for two Haitian students to attend a private school in Haiti. Periodic visits to Haiti and student updates help ensure that funding is making a difference.
A major focus of the Zonta Club of St. Louis is helping single mothers achieve their goal of obtaining a college education. We provide scholarships, life skills support and mentoring so they can provide a better life for their families through our Women’s Another Chance Scholarship Program. The St. Louis Club also provides many community grants to other local organizations, most of which are also involved in improving the lives of underserved and vulnerable populations.
Thank you Zonta Club of St. Louis for being my rainbow and believing in me.
“I am passionate about being able to help others and make a difference in someone’s life. I hope to be the rainbow in other people’s lives as an occupational therapy assistant. I can’t wait to see where this road takes me. Thank you for believing in me and giving me a chance to learn!”
Zonta has given me that big push that I needed to keep moving forward.
“My goal is to become a certified radiology technologist. Zonta has given me that big push that I needed to keep moving forward. My mentor, she is like a mother to me. She is always motivating me to do better. I am truly thankful for this opportunity.”
My mentor has been encouraging and supportive throughout this journey.
“I would like to thank Zonta for giving me the opportunity to continue my education. I also thank my mentor; she has been both encouraging and supportive throughout this journey. This program has not been an easy road but it has taught me dedication, perseverance, and to never give up. Through it all, still, I rise!”
